The ratings that the mini-serye Sa Ngalan ng Ina received during its first pilot episode was not as astounding as what Nora Aunor fans were expecting.
Many Noranians were dismayed by the result released by AGB. Fans even openly aired their disappointment in social networking sites with regards to the ratings of Sa Ngalan ng Ina as compared to other primetime TV shows in two other major networks.
AGB ratings for primetime shows aired last October 3 revealed that Munting Heredera of GMA topped the primetime rating with an audience share of 14%, followed by Nasaan ka Elisa of ABS-CBN with 9.1%, and Sa Ngalan ng Ina of TV5 network with 4.3%.
Although the pilot episode of Sa Ngalan ng Ina got the lowest rating in AGB as compared to other TV network’s primetime show, fans are still optimistic that it will get positive ratings in the days to come.
Meanwhile, with her success in the first ever TV show comeback, the Superstar Nora Aunor is also expected to receive a Philippine Movie Press Club Lifetime Achievement Award, the most prestigious Star Awards for Music given by the PMPC body for her contribution in the music industry and the achievements she received as a music artist. The said event will be held on October 16, 2011 at the Lee Irwin Theater, Ateneo de Manila University.
